(Aug 27/10) - As flu season approaches, the College reminds members that the administration of vaccines is a Restricted Activity and a Specialty of LPN practice that requires successful completion of formal, approved education. (An Immunization Certificate Course is currently available by distance and home study education.) Upon successful completion, members should send CLPNA proof of certification to update their file.

Registration for the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination (CPNRE) on September 15, 2010 has been completed. The CPNRE Information Package was mailed on August 10 to all registered candidates. Candidates who do not receive this package by August 26 should immediately notify CLPNA as this package allows admittance to the exam.
